photo/RuetersRiek Machar has been very successful in both atrocities (1991 massacre and 2013 conflict) murdering thousands of South Sudanese civilians. This guy {Riek Machar} carefully planned not once but twice to destroy South Sudan; torturing and killing South Sudanese, and the respond from the United Nations bodies, united States government, and other International Communities has been absolutely nothing but appalling.

What the world needs to know about Riek Machar is that he {Machar} is nothing but a war monger, devil warlord, terrorist and cold-blooded killer. What would it take to prosecute Riek Machar? Just look at what he {Machar} did since December 15th, 2013 alone. Thousands of lives have been lost. Millions of South Sudanese have been displaced within the country and throughout neighboring countries. Women including pregnant women were brutally raped and eventually killed. Children were tortured and killed. Elderlies were dragged out of their residencies to the streets and eventually killed. Properties were destroyed. South Sudan was nearly turned upside down. All of these horrific activities were passionately carried out under Machar’s orders as the leader of the rebel group and the guy has a nerve to say “I’m going back to Juba” pretending as if he had done nothing wrong and that he is for peace?!? As the say goes…action speaks louder than words.

The recent peace agreement implemented and signed by both South Sudanese government and rebellion party (Machar’s party) is nothing but a reward of Machar’s destruction in South Sudan and when bad behaviors get rewarded, it only gets worse. If you read the entire document you will notice that almost all of it was copied and pasted from the original 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement. I know that many South Sudanese diligently voiced their concerns that this peace agreement is and will still be a greater danger for South Sudanese in years to come. Machar needs to stop spreading lies about the South Sudanese government and accept the responsibilities of his own destruction.

His recent speech at the UN in New York is deceitful and encourages his followers/believers to continue to destroy South Sudan. Why else did he have closed doors meeting with only Nuer community in Nebraska and not all South Sudanese communities in the United States?  Machar and all leaders in the rebellion group must face justice for the horrific crimes knowingly and intentionally committed. He must be prosecuted for the devil act his followers and loyal militant group did to civilians. It is a time to hold him {Machar} accountable for his crimes.

To all my South Sudanese fellows and friends, for the sake of our children, brothers/sisters and elders who have been murdered and victimized by Machar, I’m asking you to rise in your anger and stand up and advocate prosecuting Riek Machar because justice is the least we can do to help bring the closure to the survivors and the victims’ families.
